In-Person and Virtual Pre-School Music Classes

Susan offers 30-minute classes that include both traditional and original songs, along with opportunities for fine and gross motor skill practice. Susan has been teaching for over thirty years and brings a wealth of expertise and experience to every classroom.

Cryin’ Out Loud Music Classes

Here's how they work: A fabulous mom (or dad) with a baby finds at least five of her besties with babies. The six pairs commit to a six-week session of 30-minute music classes at the fabulous mom's/dad's/host's house.

Here's what happens: Susan shows up with her ukulele, songs, rhymes, shakers, scarves, etc. We make music together. We have fun. We all sing. We are happy.

These classes are perfect for backyards or front yards. Drop-ins are welcome if the host agrees. (Classes can be arranged for toddlers.)

Concerts

If you are interested in booking a concert, Susan will bring the same professional music performance that has defined her work with children, teachers and families for the past 30 years.

Teacher Music Workshops

For over twenty years, Susan has created music workshops for early childhood educators in Chicago and throughout the country. Regardless of musical background, participants will gain a deeper understanding of what goes into a perfect finger play, a fabulous song or an easily mastered dance for preschool age children. Using songs and dances from around the world in combination with Susan's award-winning music, these workshops will give teachers a dozen new songs to take back to the classroom as well as skills for incorporating more music into the curriculum. Susan's original strategy of "supersizing" songs and fingerplays teaches educators how to reinvigorate their own repertoire of children's music.
